Infrared emitting tube (IR LED), also known as infrared emitting diode, belongs to the diode class. It is a light-emitting device that can directly convert electrical energy into near-infrared light (invisible light) and emit it.

Infrared emission tubes are a product of choice in many aspects nowadays, and they can be used in many ways, making them a great product.

Infrared emission tubes are high-power infrared emission diodes using GaAlAs technology, packaged in transparent or blue plastic. Compared with standard GaAs at a similar wavelength, these emission diodes using GaAlAs technology have improved radiation power. The forward voltage roughly corresponds to standard technology under low current and high pulse current operating conditions, so these emitting diodes are ideal high-performance products as standard emitting devices.
